His deep prayer life and trust in God led to countless stories of physical and spiritual healings, earning him the reputation of a miracle worker. As a porter at St. Bonaventure Monastery in Detroit, he greeted visitors with kindness and compassion, always ready to listen and pray for their needs. Through his years of faithful service, Solanus touched the lives of thousands, and his legacy lives on through the miracles attributed to him, including the miraculous healings that played a role in his beatification. In 2017, he was declared Blessed by the Catholic Church, a step closer to sainthood.
