The Simple Truth
The Simple Truth, hosted by Jim Havens, airs each weekday from 4-5PM(EST) on The Station of the Cross Media Network. The focus of the show is authentically receiving, living, and transmitting the simple Truth of Jesus and His Catholic Church. We're in challenging times, but we are made to rise up and meet the challenges before us with Christ. We'll be proclaiming all that is good, true, and beautiful, applying it to real life, and we won't shy away from the difficult topics, especially lifting up the truth in those areas where it is most unpopular, and therefore most needed. As the Catechism of the Catholic Church states: "The disciple of Christ consents to 'live in the truth,' that is, in the simplicity of a life in conformity with the Lord's example, abiding in his truth. He served for ten years as provincial superior of his Catholic religious congregation, the Oblates of the Virgin Mary. He currently holds the St. Ignatius Chair for Spiritual Formation at St. John Vianney Theological Seminary in Denver.

5/11/22 - Scott Baier is the CEO at Community Pregnancy Clinics as of June of 2021. He is originally from upstate New York and now resides in Estero, FL with his wife, Rachel, and five children. Before coming to CPCI, Scott served our country as a non-commissioned officer (Army Intelligence) in both Germany and Bosnia-Hercegovina, followed by several years in the seminary, and later twenty-three years in Catholic education.

4/13/22 - Fr. John Lovell was ordained for the Diocese of Rockford in 2007 by Bishop Thomas G. Doran. In 2012, while Father was studying at the Dominican House of Studies, he was removed/canceled by the new bishop of Rockford, David J. Malloy. For the last decade, Father Lovell has fought for his good name and has helped other priests in the same situation. In the spring of 2021, he co-founded the Coalition for Canceled Priests. 4/12/22 - Daniel and Elaine Carr were married April 10, 1982. They spent their first seven years of marriage living in the Holy Land and have 7 children. Elaine is on the board of the Bethlehem Holy Child Program, which supports a school in Bethlehem. The school provides specialized services for children of all faiths with mental health issues or trauma. Dan retired from Catholic Relief Services and is a writer and poet whose poetry is on the website pilgrimpoet.life.
