The Simple Truth
The Simple Truth, hosted by Jim Havens, airs each weekday from 4-5PM(EST) on The Station of the Cross Media Network. The focus of the show is authentically receiving, living, and transmitting the simple Truth of Jesus and His Catholic Church. We're in challenging times, but we are made to rise up and meet the challenges before us with Christ. We'll be proclaiming all that is good, true, and beautiful, applying it to real life, and we won't shy away from the difficult topics, especially lifting up the truth in those areas where it is most unpopular, and therefore most needed. As the Catechism of the Catholic Church states: "The disciple of Christ consents to 'live in the truth,' that is, in the simplicity of a life in conformity with the Lord's example, abiding in his truth. He also hosts the Divine Intimacy Radio show with his wife, Stephanie, which is broadcast weekly on EWTN Radio. 4/5/22 - Roy Schoeman was born and raised Jewish, but while serving as a Jewish Marketing Professor at Harvard Business School, he received two supernatural experiences – one of Christ and one of the Blessed Virgin Mary – that resulted in his conversion to Catholicism. Now he writes, speaks, and teaches on the relationship between Judaism and the Catholic Church. He has written two best-selling books: Salvation is from the Jews: The Role of Judaism in Salvation History, and Honey from the Rock: Sixteen Jews Find the Sweetness of Christ. He also taught theology at Ave Maria University and Holy Apostles College and Seminary, hosts a weekly Catholic radio show on Radio Maria, has a daily internet livestream, and appears frequently on EWTN television and radio shows.

A convert to Catholicism in college, she embraces the idea that "conversion is a lifelong process." She homeschools and writes from Houston where she lives with her husband and three children (four in heaven). She is currently working on a picture book about child loss. She recently authored The Woman in the Trees, a novel about America's first approved Marian apparition.

3/29/22 - Gabriel Vance and his wife, Anna, founded Catholics for Life in 2021 after seeing a need for more Catholics committed to defending the preborn as well as the need for pro-life activism to center around the fullness of the Catholic faith. Gabriel is also the Director of External Affairs for Created Equal, an anti-abortion activism group based in Columbus, OH. For the last five years, Gabriel has traveled across the nation advocating for equal rights for preborn humans on university and high school campuses, in busy downtown areas, and outside abortion facilities.

3/28/22 - Daniel Carr is a father of seven living in Maryland. He is retired from Catholic Relief Services (CRS) where he worked for 36 years. He spent 5 years in Jerusalem as a manager of a Health Education program and 31 years at the CRS headquarters in Baltimore working in IT. Between 1992 and 2008 he traveled around the world helping field offices to computerize their systems which track the movement of food commodities. He is currently active in his local parish and writes poetry that he publishes on his website: pilgrimpoet.life.
